Congress holds sit-in against horse trading in RS polls

Chaibasa, June 23: West Singhbhum district congress committee staged a sit-in-protest before the DC office on Friday alleging BJP government of its involvement in horse trading during Rajya Sabha polls 2016 as it was found by election commission in prima facie. A letter was also issued by the election commission to the state government.

The congress activists demanded strict action against the ruling BJP government under prevent to corruption Act. District congress president Sunny Sinku also accused the BJP led Jharkhand government for increasing electricity bill for farmers and domestic users whereas the government has given relaxation to capitalist class and industrialist.

Congress blamed the BJP government of increasing burden on the public with increased revenue. Also present was were Trishanu Roy, Sunit Sharma, Chhota Purty, Mahabir Biruli, Laxman Samad, Neela Nag and others.
