Jamshedpur: Hundreds of women of Jadugora staged a demonstration before the local police station to protest the killing of Joba Hembram, a resident of Rajdoha village.
They alleged that the police was deliberately not taking action against the culprits in this case. They said the three accused persons, Munna Ram Hembram, Rani Hembram and Tangrai Hembram, were still at large. They said the three had killed Joba Hembram 20 days ago after hatching a conspiracy.
Leading the agitators, former Mukhiya of Rajdoha, said the accused persons were moving scot-free but the police could not arrest them.
A memorandum was given to the officer in-charge of Jadugora PS Prabhat Kumar by the agitators.
