Six accused sent to jail in Jamshedpur Theme Park chopper attack case

Jamshedpur, March 30: In a major breakthrough, police have arrested a total of six accused in connection with the brutal chopper attack near the Theme Park in the HUDCO area under Telco police station area.
Following fresh raids, four more accused were apprehended and subsequently sent to judicial custody. The arrested individuals have been identified as Md. Ayan (19), Md. Fardeen Khan (20), Md. Shaid alias Sahid (21), and Md. Faiz Raja alias Faizu (21), all residents of Golmuri.
Police recovered a blood-stained chopper, a shirt soaked in blood, two mobile phones, and two scooters from their possession, strengthening the case against them.
The officer-in-charge, addressing a press briefing, stated that the victim, Adarsh Kumar Singh, sustained serious injuries in the attack and is currently undergoing treatment at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).
Acting on the directives of the Senior Superintendent of Police, a special team was constituted under the leadership of the City SP to investigate the case. On the day of the incident itself, two accused—Abdul Maroof (20) and Abdul Rehman (23)—were arrested. Based on their inputs, the remaining four were tracked down and taken into custody.
All six accused have now been remanded to judicial custody as the investigation progresses.
