Thakkar Bapa Middle School Jamshedpur to become a Model institution : Saryu

Jamshedpur, March 30: Thakkar Bapa Middle School in Dhatkidih, Bistupur, is set to be developed into a model school, following a key decision taken at a meeting of the School Management Committee chaired by Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy.

Addressing the meeting, Roy informed that a formal proposal will soon be sent to the state government for approval. The initiative aims to enhance the overall quality of education and infrastructure at the institution, thereby attracting more students and elevating its reputation.

The meeting witnessed active participation from members of the student parliament as well as parents, reflecting a collaborative approach towards institutional development.

Several important resolutions were passed during the discussion. It was decided that the open ground in front of the school will be upgraded into a proper playground to support sports and recreational activities for students. Additionally, to ensure an uninterrupted academic environment, a separate access route will be created for the Urban Resource Centre (URC) office located within the school premises. This move is expected to prevent frequent disruptions caused by visitors from across the district.

The proposed transformation into a model school is anticipated to significantly improve both academic standards and campus facilities, marking a progressive step in strengthening the local education system.
