Jamshedpur, July 2: A grand Rath Yatra will be taken out in the city on 4th July. It will start at Ram Mandir, Bistupur, under the aegis of ISKCON. The procession will start at 2.30 pm. This was informed today by Padmanabh Jagannath Das, Jamshedpur head of ISKCON, at a press meet held in Dhalbhum Club, Sakchi.
Das said members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Poorva Sainik Parishad will guard the chariot from all sides throughout the procession. Three chariots of Lord Jagannath, Subhadra and Balram will be taken out from Bistupur for Dhalbhum Club, Sakchi. A group of folk artists and a Kirtan group from Moscow will also attend the Rath Yatra, Das said.
Among those present at the press meet included Suresh Sonthalia, Arun Bankrewal, Chandrashekhar Parvat, Suman Agrawal, Anand Pasari, Bharat Vasani, Padam Agrawal, Santosh Agrawal, Mantu Agrawal, Pawan Sharma, Dilip Goyal and Rahul Choudhary.
