Electronic manufacturing cluster to come up in Adityapur: Jharkhand CM

Rs 185 crore to be spent on implementing the project

Ranchi, July 3: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today announced an electronic manufacturing cluster worth Rs 185 crore will be established in Adityapur very soon. He said this would generate huge employment opportunities and put the region on the path of rapid progress.

The CM was reviewing the progress of Industries, Mines and Geology departments at Jharkhand Secretariat.

Das said that rural industry based on agriculture and forest produce will be established in rural areas. �This will help promote industry related to bamboo, handicraft, honey production, clay art and agriculture produce. Jharkhand is among the top four states in Ease of Doing Business in the country, fifth in feedback ranking. Single window system has been developed in the state for providing facilities to businessman,� he said.  

The CM said that Air Cargo Complex has been constructed in Birsa Munda International Airport for promoting export from the state.

The Chief Minister said that Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor will be Nodal Point under Integrated Manufacturing Cluster, Barhi, Hazaribagh. Stone Cluster and Agricultural Implement Cluster will be established in Dumka.

Das said that 546 new industries were started in the last four year with the investment of 70961.96 crore. �It will provide employment to more than 130000 people. Work has been started in 120 units and 144 units will also start functioning soon. 99 Food Processing units are underway. Production will start in next 4 months. Work has been started in 6 Garment Manufacturing Units; it has provided employment to 9000 people. Work is in progress in 36 units.  Infrastructure development will soon be done for Plastic Park in Deoghar and Leather Footwear Park in Dhanbad. Bamboo Artisan Conclave 2019 will be organized in Dumka. Terracotta training centre will start in Ramgarh and Dumka in August,� he said.

Reviewing Mines Department, the CM said that applications coming for mines should be executed on time. Environment clearance should also be given on time. With our policies, revenue has increased 15.70 % in the last four year. Monthly review should be done for the allotted Mines Block.
