Chakulia, October 8: The dead body of an unidentified youth was found near pole number 184/17 on the railway track near Sonahara village of Chakulia police station area on Sunday afternoon.
It is suspected that the said youth died after falling from a train. The deceased was wearing blue jeans and white ganji. The bag has fallen near the dead body. The young man’s slippers had fallen nearby.
After receiving the information, SI Rohit Kumar of Chakulia police station reached the spot along with the police force and took the body into custody.
A receipt from Milan Studio of Chakulia was recovered from the purse found in the pants pocket of the deceased. Mirza Hansda is written in the receipt. The mobile number mentioned in the receipt is 6299937764. SI Rohit Kumar tried to contact the said number but the mobile was switched off. There is a possibility that the young man is from some nearby village. The body will be sent for post-mortem. At present the police is trying to identify the deceased.
