Jamshedpur, Aug 7: Uranium Mazdoor Sangh affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh will hold an agitation programme at the gate of UCIL Hospital on Friday, August 9. The protest and agitation program is against the central government�s anti labour policies. Union leaders Umesh Chandra Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Pushp Raj, M Pandit and Raju Mukhi went around the workplace distributing pamphlets to workers to make them aware of the purpose of the agitation. They informed the workers of the central government�s intents of transferring public sector units to capitalists. The other three UCIL unions namely Uranium Kamgaar Union, Singhbhum Uranium Mazdoor Union and Jadugoda Labour Union are supporting the Uranium Mazdoor Sangh and participate in the mass demonstration. The Deputy General Manager has been notified of the agitation programme vide a letter to the effect.
