Jamshedpur, May 11: Deoghar were crowned the winners of JSCA Inter district U-19 women�s cricket tournament after beating West Singhbhum by 29 runs in the final on Sunday.
West Singhbhum captain won the toss and elected to field first restricting the opponent team to 82 runs with Israni Soren taking 3 wickets, Anjali Das took 2 while Usha Verma and Anjali Prasad toojm a wicket each.
Deoghar batsman Suvecha Mandal 18 runs, Iram khan 16 runs and Garima with 16 were the top scorers for the side.
Chasing 83 to win West Singhbhum batsman failed to make a mark and were bundled out for 53 runs with Jyoti Goswami taking 3 wickets, Suvecha Mondal took 2 while Anshu Tiwary also took 2 wickets to win the match and the finals for Deoghar. Man of the match was awarded to Suvechna Mandal for her all round performance.
