U-16 Cricket Team Selection Registration Opens in Seraikela-Kharsawan

Seraikela: The Cricket Association of Seraikela-Kharsawan (CASK) has announced the start of the registration process for the selection of the district’s Under-16 cricket team for the 2025–26 season. The registration will begin on January 5, 2026, and continue until January 8, 2026, according to CASK secretary Praveer Kumar.

The selection process will follow the guidelines of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA). Only those players who complete physical verification of their documents within the specified period will be allowed to take part in the trials. The association has made it clear that document verification will be conducted strictly to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process.

As per the eligibility criteria, players must be born on or after September 1, 2010, and on or before August 31, 2012. Eligible players are required to appear in person for registration along with their original documents and two sets of photocopies.

The mandatory documents include a digital birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation or Municipality, original academic marksheets for the last three academic years from 2022–23 to 2024–25, and a bonafide certificate from the concerned school or college for the current academic session 2025–26. Players must also bring their original PVC Aadhaar card, complete Aadhaar update history downloaded from the UIDAI website, and their parent or guardian’s voter ID card along with an original photograph.

CASK secretary Praveer Kumar said the association invites all eligible and talented players from the district to participate, but stressed that players failing document verification will not be permitted to appear in the trials.

Registration will be held at the CASK office located at LG-05, Garden Bazaar, Sahara Garden City, Adityapur-2, between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm.
