Jamshedpur: President of Tata Workers Union (TWU) PN Singh has urged the district administration to hold union election outside company premises.
Singh along with his supporters met deputy commissioner Amitabh Kaushal to the effect.
In his plea PN Singh said that if union election is held inside company premises then company management might try to influence voters.
He argued that the earlier election was held outside of Tata Steel company premises. Singh also urged the district administration to ensure a peaceful, free and fare union election.
