Jamshedpur: Rajya Sabha MP Pradip Kumar Balmuchu met deputy commissioner Amitabh Kaushal and raised issues of development in Ghatsila constituency.
During the meeting Balmuchu said that construction of boundary walls in schools being funded through MP fund is getting delayed. He urged the DC to see to it that construction of boundary walls are done in Ghatsila and Musaboni at the earliest.
Talking to the presspersons after the meeting Balmuchu said that he had also raised the matter of demolition orders issued by the government to pull down houses of two persons in Musaboni.
On one hand the government promises providing houses to the poor, on the other the district administration is trying to evict poor people, he said.
The Rajya Sabha MP further said that the present government should complete procedure for cabinet expansion as it is hampering development activities in Jharkhand. He said the Congress would launch vigorous agitation if cabinet expansion is not done at the earliest.
On Delhi election debacle Balmuchu commented that Congress was not in the poll race in Delhi assembly election. The party that went down from 32 seats to 3 seats should worry about its performance, he said, referring to BJP.
Balmuchu said that the Congress would hold AICC meeting after the oncoming budget session in Delhi in which crucial decisions would taken on party restructuring.
