Jamshedpur, May 8: In a startling revelation, three employees of Gangour Sweets, a renowned confectionary establishment in Jamshedpur, stand accused of orchestrating a fraud scheme, resulting in a purported loss of approximately Rs 20 lakh over the past two years. The operation came to light when director Davinder Singh Bhatia, known as Raja, conducted a thorough investigation into the matter, leading to the apprehension of the alleged perpetrators.
Upon suspicion, Bhatia scrutinized the mobile communication records of all three suspects, revealing incriminating evidence implicating cashier Swapan Bera, salesman Barun Sheet, and dispatch worker Pradyut Guha. Subsequently, Bhatia lodged a formal complaint, initiating legal proceedings against the accused parties by filing an FIR with the Bistupur police station.
The three employees, identified as Swapan Bera hailing from West Midnapore, West Bengal, Barun Sheet from Jugsalai, and Pradyut Guha from Baghbeda, were promptly arrested by law enforcement officials following the filing of the complaint.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and diligent oversight within the workplace, as well as the critical role of thorough investigation in uncovering fraudulent activities that undermine the integrity and reputation of businesses.
Authorities continue to investigate the matter further to ascertain the full extent of the alleged fraud and ensure appropriate legal actions are taken against the perpetrators.
