Simdega: Two minor tribal girls were allegedly gang-raped in Jharkhand’s Simdega district on September 10. So far, the police have arrested four people in this case, including three minors, while the victims are undergoing treatment in a local hospital.
According to reports, around 10 people, including the girls, were enjoying a party and consumed a lot of alcohol. After being drunk, those people raped the girls in the Khaman Bhadra forest under Sadar police limits in the district.
The police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested four people, including three minors. Among the arrested accused is Aftab Alam of Gargad Bahar of Thethaittangar police station area. A case has also been registered against 5-6 unknown persons. The police are looking for them.
Pushpa Kullu, the former chairman of the city council, informed the police about the matter. During the investigation, it was revealed that all of them had gone to party with the two minor girls.
