Jamshedpur, May 22: Sundernagar police arrested two persons with a country-made pistol on Sunday. Those arrested were identified as Mohammad Kurban and Mohammad Murshid, both residents of Dhatkidih, Bistupur.
Cops said the accused persons were arrested during a raid conducted on the basis of a tip-off during late hours near Sundernagar. The accused persons were coming towards Jamshedpur on a scooty. A police patrol team asked them to stop at the checkpost, but the two started escaping and fell with the scooter. After a chase, cops arrested them and seized arms and the scooty. Cops said the scooty was stolen by the accused persons.
