Chabeel Organized in Jamshedpur to Honor Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s Supreme Sacrifice

Jamshedpur: Paying tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, the fifth Sikh Guru, a Chabeel serving sweet chilled water and sherbet was organised near the Red Cross Roundabout in Sakchi on Thursday. The service initiative was arranged by the family of Govind Singh and Sukhbir Singh as part of the observance of the Guru’s martyrdom day.

Devotees and passers-by were offered sweet water and sherbet, while Prasad in the form of black chickpeas (kala chana) was also distributed among the public. The Chabeel was formally inaugurated by Govind Singh, the head of the family, who emphasized the importance of remembering the Guru’s sacrifice and serving humanity through acts of kindness and generosity.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of different communities, promoting the message of harmony, brotherhood, and communal unity.
