LPG cylinder catches fire in Jamshedpur, two burnt

Jamshedpur, May 22: Fire broke out in a house near Gautam Naulakha Apartment in Sonari following leak in an LPG cylinder on Sunday. Two persons Krishna Deep and Kali were burnt in the incident. They were taken to the hospital where their condition was reportedly out of danger.

Local residents rushed to the house of Krishna Deep on hearing screams from inside. Inside they found Krishna and his son-in-law Kali burnt and flames erupting from the LPG cylinder. They doused the fire before the fire tenders could come for help.

According to Krishna, he was trying to turn the knob of LPG cylinder on, but it broke off. This caused gas leak causing the fire, he said.
