Turiabera murder case: Villagers demand arrest of accused Bhim Gope

Jamshedpur, Nov. 5: Villagers and family members of deceased Binod Mahato, who was murdered by Bhim Gope on November 3, met senior superintendent of police, Anoop T Mathew, demanding arrest of accused Bhim Gope.

A resident of the village Turiabera said, Bhim Gope son late Shankar Gope is threatening to kill four more villagers.

The people of the area are living in fear and till date no action has been taken by MGM police station officials. The situation is so worse that people are not able to come out of their houses.

The villagers asked the SSP to arrest Bhim as early as possible and provide security to the villagers.

It may be noted that Binod Mahto, a 28-year-old garage mechanic was stabbed to death at Turiabera village, 2km from Jamshedpur on November 3 by accused Bhim Gope with a sharp edged weapon and fled.
