Gulmohur High School launches wellness spaces for students

Jamshedpur recently witnessed a major boost in student well-being. Gulmohur High School inaugurated two new spaces on November first.
Principal Priti Sinha and vice-principal Archana Srivastava opened the facilities. These spaces operate under the school’s unique Happy School Programme.
The primary section received a soothing zone called The Calm Nest. Young students explore emotions safely through creative activities and mindfulness exercises.
Meanwhile, the high school section welcomed The Reflection Hub. Talented students helped design this space for older learners.
Students manage stress and reflect on behavior here. Mood meters and growth mindset activities guide their personal development daily.
Teachers refer students to these zones for brief visits. Children spend five to fifteen minutes participating in structured activities before returning.
Standard operating procedures and referral forms regulate the entire process. Periodic reviews ensure students benefit fully from the supportive environment.
Principal Priti Sinha emphasized the need for emotional intelligence alongside academics. She believes students must conquer challenges and make responsible choices.
True discipline blossoms through self-awareness rather than fear. The institution firmly prioritizes holistic student growth.
