Latehar: Latehar Police achieved a significant breakthrough by apprehending the sub-zonal commander of the Naxalite organization TSPC, Sahadev Ganjhu, alias Sahadev Ganjhu, alias Roshan ji, alias Ranjan, alias Ritesh ji, alias Abhishek. The arrest took place in the Hesabar-Bhang forest of the Balumath police station area. Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan disclosed this information during a press conference held at the police headquarters late on Tuesday evening.
The operation unfolded following intelligence received on the night of December 25, indicating that the zonal commander of TSPC Naxalite organization, Avvas Ganjhu, along with some associates, was present in the Hesabar-Bhang forest of the Balumath police station. The group was reportedly planning to gather levies and extortion and carry out potential untoward incidents. In response to this intelligence, a dedicated team was swiftly formed, and action was taken.
