Jamshedpur: The District Police is gearing up to facilitate a secure and enjoyable environment for New Year celebrations, making special arrangements to ensure that people can welcome the upcoming year with their families in a festive atmosphere. Several measures have been put in place to enhance safety and security during the festivities.
City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat stated that the police will maintain a vigilant eye on everything, from popular picnic spots to the roads. To bolster security, both male and female police officers in plain clothes will be deployed at these locations. Strict actions are promised against anyone engaging in disruptive behavior or causing disturbances during the celebrations. Reckless driving on the roads will also be met with stringent consequences.
In a bid to cover all bases, magistrates and police forces will be stationed at tourist destinations and picnic spots across the city. A joint order is expected to be issued, underscoring the commitment of the authorities to maintaining law and order during the New Year celebrations.
