Jamshedpur: In a significant development for railway connectivity between Jharkhand and Odisha, the Vande Bharat Express conducted its trial run on Sunday from Tatanagar to Brahmapur. The train, which departed from platform number 3 at 5:27 AM, passed through Chaibasa en route to Brahmapur. The trial run saw an enthusiastic response from the public, with many gathering at the station to capture the moment on their phones.
The new Vande Bharat train promises to bring much-needed relief to passengers traveling between the two states by reducing travel time significantly.

The trial run, supervised by Chief Loco Pilot PK Shetty and TKP Bahadro, will be deemed complete once the train returns to Tatanagar at 11:30 PM. During the trial, various technical aspects will be tested, with a particular focus on ensuring that all operational standards are met. Safety checks will also be conducted after the train’s return.
