Tree houses and unique attractions await tourists in Jamshedpur Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary

Jamshedpur: Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, a popular destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, is set to enhance its offerings with the addition of tree houses. Tourists visiting the sanctuary will soon have the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature while enjoying tea and breakfast from the comfort of a tree house.

Currently, construction is underway for five tree houses in Dalma, with two being built in Makulakocha and two in Pindrabeda. Additionally, the repair work of an old tree house is also in progress in Pindrabeda. The new tree houses will provide a peaceful and scenic environment, allowing tourists to relax and immerse themselves in nature.

DFO Saba Alam Ansari shared, “The tree houses being built in Dalma will offer visitors a chance to enjoy the tranquil environment and be surrounded by the beauty of wildlife and greenery. It will provide a unique and memorable experience.”

In addition to the tree houses, other attractions at Dalma include a watch tower, mud houses, and a canopy walk. The 200-meter-long canopy walk, situated 25 feet above the ground in Makulakocha, has already become a major tourist attraction. It offers breathtaking views of the forest, waterfalls, and the sounds of birds and monkeys.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, three new mud houses with six rooms each have been built near Makulakocha. These mud houses provide an opportunity for urban visitors, especially children who may not have experienced village life, to enjoy the rural charm of Dalma. The mud houses are available for tourists to enjoy at a rate of Rs. 1500.

The watch tower, standing at a height of 40 feet, offers panoramic views of the surrounding forest, and the canopy walk is quickly gaining popularity. With these new additions, the number of tourists visiting Dalma is expected to rise, making it an even more attractive destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
