Titagarh: Deputy Managing Director of Titagarh Rail Systems Limited, Pritish Chaudhary, announced that the company is currently manufacturing about 1200 new Vande Bharat train coaches. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of CII Manufacturing Conclave East in Jamshedpur on Friday, Chaudhary highlighted the ongoing expansion and development of railways, encompassing both freight and passenger trains.
“We are witnessing a significant pace of growth in our work orders from the Railway Board, amounting to Rs 1909 crore in the current financial year,” Chaudhary stated. He emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality freight wagons and passenger coaches across India.
Chaudhary noted that the recent surge in orders, particularly for Vande Bharat trains, reflects a new phase of innovation and efficiency in railway manufacturing. “This surge in demand indicates a positive shift in the railway sector, promising better outcomes,” he added.
