Seraikela, May 22: Three persons on a motorcycle were injured in an accident on the Saraikela-Kandra road near Sahebganj on Sunday.The bike riders were Sonari residents of Jamshedpur and they included 35 year old Dilip Barik, his wife Seema Barik (28 years) and their daughter, seven year old Tamanna Barik. They fell off the bike while trying to avoid hitting a cyclist. The incident happened around 11 pm.
As per the information received, the three Sonari residents were coming to Saraikela for attending an engagement party at their relative’s home. The reports also stated Dilip Barik who was driving the bike received a gash but his wife and daughter sustained minor injuries on their hands. Local people sent the three injured to Saraikela Sadar Hospital by road ambulance. They were being treated at the hospital when reports last came in.
