Jamshedpur, May 22: Excise department launched a crackdown against illicit liquor trade across East Singhbhum following the orders of Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav. Several teams of excise officials raided illegal distilleries in Rasunchopa, Naga and Haldipokhar and confiscated 189 litres of illicit foreign liquor and 303 litres of illicit country liquor. FIRs were lodged against the owners of the distilleries, sources said.
