Jamshedpur August 17: Tilottama Women’s Organization, founded with the objective of women empowerment, will be organizing a three day exhibition at The Bengal Club in Sakchi from Friday, August 18.
Heading Tilottama group, Antara Chakraborty said, “This event is being organized to encourage entrepreneurial spirit among women. The exhibition has been set up at The Bengal Club with the aim to promote the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Startup India.’”
Antara further stated that the women of Jamshedpur would showcase their products including sarees, kurtis, handmade and customized jewelry, leather bags, home decor items, cosmetics, homemade cakes and cookies, all displayed under one roof. A total of 50 women from Jamshedpur will participate in this three day exhibition, showcasing their special products. “A portion of the proceeds from sale of these products will be used towards assisting women and orphaned children,” she said.
A special stall at the exhibition will be dedicated to products crafted by children, adding a unique touch to the exhibition, Antara informed.
The exhibition, commencing Friday, August 18 will continue till Sunday, August 20 and will be open between 11 am and 9 pm every day.
