Jamshedpur, August 17: The Baridih Student Club reconstituted the Durga Puja Committee with full consensus at meeting held at the Post Office Ground. Jayant Pandey was re-elected President. Other office bearers elected were Ashwani Sharma and Ram Anand as Vice Presidents, Amit Singh and Deepak Mishra as Deputy Presidents, Bimal Kant Ojha as General Secretary, Sumit Rajhans and Ashish Jha as Treasurer, Dharmaveer Singh and R K Singh as Joint Treasurers, Sunil Gupta and Brijmohan Sah as Bhog In-charges, Anoop Dey and Sadan Namta as Puja In-charges. The founder of the committee, Rama Shankar Sharma, was also present at this meeting.
As in previous years, this year the puja will be organized with performance of all puja rituals. The decoration of the pandal will be done by Indra Tent, with lighting arrangements and the idol being the main attractions. Others present on the occasion included Alok, Jaydev, Raj, Chintu, Golu, Debasish, Haruda, Vinayak, Piyush, Mukul, Chandan, PG Rao, Kanhaiya, Amit and Sohan.
