Jamshedpur, July 26: Theatre activist Chandan Singh is stricken with cancer. He has recently returned to the city after undergoing treatment in Mumbai. The exorbitant cost of treatment is matter of grave concern but the city�s theatre fraternity has taken of the cause of raising funds for their ailing colleague.
A meeting to the effect was held today evening at the Kalamandir Auditorium presided by theatre thespian Hari Mittal. It was unanimously agreed in the meeting to contribute funds to meet the treatment expenses of Chandan Singh. The theatre workers have also appealed to the city�s general people to come forward for this humanitarian cause.
