Jamshedpur youth collect food material for Bihar flood victims

Jamshedpur, July 26: Jamshedpur youth showed their concern for a suffering mankind when they set out in groups to collect food items comprising rice, mudi, flattened rice, jagery, lentils, biscuits and other food essentials. Young members of social organizations Sampoorn Hindu Samaj and Voice of Humanity conducted the collection drive in and around the city. The collected food items that include five quintals rice, 18 bags of mudi, 22 bags flattened rice (chewda), 20 boxes of biscuits and other essentials have been sent to two centres Purnia and Muzzafarpur from where they will be distributed to the flood affected people by members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

The people who participated in the collection drive were Manish Kumar, Amit Pathak, Hari Singh, Shambhu Chowdhary, Sandip, Mukund, Abhishek, Prashant, Mahesh and Krishna while Raman Singh, Sashi Singh and Shankar Rao represented the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Raj Kishore will head the distribution team in Muzzafarpur while Jawahar Ji will be in charge in Purnia.
