Jamshedpur: The Milanee marked its 113th Foundation Day with pride and reverence, celebrating over a century of cultural legacy.

The commemorative program commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the Club flag by President Shekhar Dey and General Secretary Dipankar ‘Raju’ Dutta, setting the tone for the day’s observance.

Members then paid heartfelt homage to the pioneers and stalwarts who shaped the institution, followed by the lighting of traditional candles symbolising continuity and collective spirit.

The celebrations continued with the President and members participating in a cake-cutting ceremony, after which the resonant strains of the club song were rendered by the Sur Saptak team.

A torchbearer of the rich socio-cultural heritage of the Bengali fraternity, The Milanee reaffirmed its commitment to tradition and community bonding.

The day concluded on a vibrant note with an evening cultural programme, culminating in a dinner gathering featuring authentic Bengali cuisine.
