Jamshedpur, Sep 7: The Indian Railways has announced the operation of Festival Special trains to accommodate the increased passenger demand during the upcoming festive season. These special services will run on the Patna-Secunderabad and Hyderabad-Patna routes, ensuring smoother travel for passengers.
The 03253 Patna-Secunderabad Special will depart from Patna every Monday and Wednesday, starting from October 14, 2024, until December 30, 2024. The train will leave at 15:00 hrs and reach Secunderabad at 03:30 hrs on the third day. Additionally, the 07255 Hyderabad-Patna Special will commence operations on October 16, 2024. It will depart from Hyderabad every Wednesday at 22:50 hrs and arrive in Patna at 11:30 hrs on the third day. The service will run until January 1, 2025.
Moreover, the 07256 Secunderabad-Patna Special will begin on October 18, 2024, and operate every Friday until December 27, 2024. The train will leave Secunderabad at 21:00 hrs and reach Patna by 09:30 hrs on the third day.
All three trains will have scheduled stoppages at Bokaro Steel City, Ranchi, Hatia, Rourkela, and Jharsuguda within the South Eastern Railway (SER) jurisdiction.
