Jamshedpur, Feb 21: Railway has started adding extra coaches in passenger trains in view of Holi. Every year, trains get extra coaches to accommodate the surge in the number of passengers in the festive season. A large number of people travel to their homes from different cities to celebrate Holi. A sizeable number of passengers go to different districts of Bihar on this occasion. On Wednesday, an extra chair car coach will be added to Tata-Danapur Superfast train, sources said.
Sources said Chhapra-Thawe Express would also get extra coaches. They said people were traveling to Bihar despite not getting confirmed tickets. The list of waiting passengers is growing bigger by every passing day, sources said.
Earlier, extra coaches were added to Danapur, Katihar and Chhapra Express. (w-at)
