Ashwini Kumar Shines in JSR Young Sporting Victory
Jamshedpur, May 14: JSR Young Sporting defeated Jamshedpur CC by 22 runs in the JSCA Jamshedpur “B” Division T20 League 2025-26 match played at College Ground on Thursday.
After winning the toss, JSR Young Sporting elected to bat first and scored 159 for 7 in 20 overs. Ravi Kumar led the batting with 38 runs off 27 balls, including five fours and a six, while Nitlesh Bharati contributed 30 runs. For Jamshedpur CC, Sresth Chouhan claimed 4 wickets for 28 runs, while Himanshu Bhardwaj took 2 wickets.
Chasing 160, Jamshedpur CC were restricted to 137 for 5 in 20 overs. Himanshu Bhardwaj played a fighting knock of 73 runs off 58 balls, while Samar Choudhary added 28 runs.
Ashwini Kumar starred with the ball for JSR Young Sporting, taking 2 wickets for 26 runs, and was named Man of the Match.
