Tatanagar: Aastha Special train departs for Ayodhya with 1,332 devotees

Jamshedpur, Feb 19: In a joyous occasion, the Aastha special train, carrying 1332 Ram devotees from the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency to Ayodhya, was ceremoniously flagged off by Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato. The departure took place at 11:50 am from platform number one of Tatanagar railway station, en route to Darshannagar station in Uttar Pradesh.

Regional Railway Manager Abhishek Singhal, BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President Sudhanshu Ojha, former MLA Maneka Sardar, and other leaders graced the event with their presence. The station premises resonated with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Narendra Modi Zindabad,” creating a spirited atmosphere.

The Aastha special train, comprising 20 bogies, marked a memorable journey for the devotees heading to Ayodhya. The air was filled with enthusiasm, with people of all ages expressing their excitement for the darshan of Shri Ramlala. Railway officials welcomed the devotees by applying red tilak and presenting garlands.

MP Bidyut Baran Mahato inspected the cleanliness and hygiene of the train, interacting with the devotees to ensure their well-being. The devotees will be provided with amenities, including food, to enhance their travel experience. Bhajan-kirtan troupes are part of the darshan group, adding a spiritual touch to the journey.

MP Bidyut Mahato, during the event, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government for providing unparalleled facilities to Ram devotees nationwide. He acknowledged the significant role of PM Modi in fulfilling the 500 years’ wait of Ram devotees globally and emphasized the cultural and spiritual significance of the Ram temple construction.

Sudhanshu Ojha, BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President, extended his best wishes to the devotees embarking on the Ayodhyadham Darshan Yatra. He praised the Ram temple as a symbol of Sanatan culture and national spirit, expressing eagerness for it to become a global center of spirituality.

The Aastha special train is scheduled to return to Tatanagar station on February 21 at 11 pm, bringing back all the devotees from their Ayodhyadham pilgrimage.
