Jamshedpur, June 8: Union minister of state for coal and mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, will visit Jamshedpur on Tuesday to participate in an intellectuals’ conference organised by the BJP as part of the nationwide campaign marking 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government.
The conference, themed “12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare,” will be held at Parikh Auditorium in Chamber Bhavan, Bistupur, from 5:30 pm.
Dubey will attend as the chief speaker and interact with intellectuals and representatives from various sectors of society.
The event will focus on the achievements, welfare initiatives, governance reforms and developmental milestones of the Union government under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato and Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu, along with several senior BJP leaders, are expected to attend.
BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar president Sanjeev Sinha said all preparations for the programme have been completed. He stated that the conference aims to highlight the Centre’s accomplishments in development, good governance and public welfare over the past 12 years and communicate them to different sections of society.
According to Sinha, intellectuals, academicians, doctors, entrepreneurs, advocates, social workers and other distinguished citizens from across the city have been invited to participate in the event.
Dubey will be accorded a grand welcome by BJP workers at Tatanagar Railway Station Chowk at 4:30 pm before proceeding to the conference venue. BJP leaders have appealed to citizens and members of the intellectual community to attend the programme in large numbers.
