Jamshedpur, June 8: Tata Motors Workers Union (TMWU)organized its monthly felicitation ceremony on Monday at the union office, where retired employees were honored with shawls and mementos in recognition of their years of service.
Addressing the gathering, Union General Secretary R.K. Singh said the event was more than a ceremonial gesture and served as a valuable platform for retired employees to share their experiences, ideas, and suggestions. He emphasized that the union carefully considered and implemented constructive feedback received from retirees and remained committed to supporting them even after retirement.
“The union has always stood by its retired members and will continue to do so. They should feel free to approach the union office whenever they need assistance, as this union belongs to them,” Singh said while wishing all retirees good health and happiness.
The retirees attended the event along with their family members and shared memories and experiences from their years of service at Tata Motors.
Union President Shashi Bhushan Prasad, General Secretary R.K. Singh, office-bearers, committee members, and members of the R.K. Singh Fans Club were present on the occasion. The programme was conducted by Prakash Vishwakarma.
The retired employees honored during the ceremony included Sayyad Tajjuddin (Vehicle Factory), Aftab Raza Ansari (QA), Jiut Sharma (Rear Axle), Rajendra Prasad and Manmohan Gop (Foundry), Barah Manjhi and Vimal Kumar (Engine Factory), Krishna Kumar Prasad (ERC), Kaleem Khan (Front Axle), Om Prakash Singh (Paint Factory), Ram Pravesh Singh (Drive Head) and Tarni Kumar Gop (Frame Factory).
