Jamshedpur: Tata Steel Tinplate Division has renovated its crèche facility, reinforcing its commitment to employee well-being and inclusive workplace practices.

Moitrayee Chakraborty inaugurated the upgraded facility alongside senior Tata Steel leaders, including Jaya Singh Panda (Chief Learning & Development and Diversity Officer), Dr. Sourajyoti Dey (Chief Tinplate), and Rakeshwar Pandey (President, Tata Tinplate Workers Union).


Features of the Redesigned Facility

The company thoughtfully redesigned the crèche to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The upgraded facility now includes:

  • Enhanced Safety: Child-proofed play zones and CCTV surveillance ensure a secure environment.

  • Specialized Areas: The layout includes a dedicated nursing area and defined spaces for early childhood development activities.

  • Professional Care: Trained caregivers provide personalized attention to every child.

  • Operating Hours: The facility serves employees from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday.
