Jamshedpur, May 26: Tata Steel has issued recruitment for its Ludhiana plant.
Under this, diploma holders in electrical, mechanical, production, metallurgical, mechanical, instrumentation engineering can apply. The last date for application is 1 June. Only applicants who have completed a three-year full-time course from a recognized engineering institute can apply.
Apart from this, those who have passed diplomas from Tata Steel Technical Institute Burmamines (Jamshedpur), JN Tata Technical Education Center Gopalpur (Odisha) and RD Tata Technical Education Center, Jamshedpur can also apply.
The applicant should have at least three years of experience of working in any steel manufacturing unit or electric arc furnace plant after obtaining the diploma certificate.
The age limit of the applicant of the general category is 32 years (born till 1 May 1993) while the age limit of SC, ST, Transgender, PWD candidates is up to 35 years (born till 1 May 1990).
Recruitment will be done after written examination, interview and physical examination. The selected candidates will be appointed as Junior Engineers in Ludhiana, whose salary will be Rs 13,500 per month while the CTC (Cost to Company) for the whole year will be Rs 5 lakh 6 thousand.
