Jamshedpur: The Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) has successfully completed the organised Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal, conducted from 15 to 30 November 2025. The achievement marks a proud milestone in TSAF’s high-altitude trekking initiative, reflecting the courage, endurance, and teamwork of participating Tata Steel employees.
The 16-day expedition reached its toughest point at Thorong La Pass, one of the world’s highest trekking passes, located at an altitude of 5,416 metres (17,769 feet). The TSAF team was led by Mr. P. Bhowmik, accompanied by Nepalese guides Mr. Tara Thapa Magar and Mrs. Nisha Gaihre. The trekking group included Tata Steel employees: Mr. Anil Kumar A. (TSL JSR E&P), Mr. Lingraj Nahak (TSL JSR CRM), Mr. Ramesh Kumar (TSL JSR FMM), Mr. Parmeshwar Sharma (TSL JSR CRM), Mr. Edward Kujur (TSL JSR SP#3), Mr. Arjun Prasad (TSL JSR Tube), and Ms. Sulekha Kumari (TSL KPO SP).
