Tata Steel bonus amount credited to employees account

Jamshedpur, September 11: Bonus amount reached the bank accounts of about 23445 employees of all the plants of Tata Steel on Monday.

The happiness of the employees and their families knew no bounds. Bonus amount of Rs 314.70 crore was distributed among the employees of all the plants of Tata Steel.

After receiving the money, the employees welcomed Tata Workers Union president Sanjeev Chaudhary Tunnu, general secretary Satish Singh, deputy president Shailesh Singh and all other officials.

Group of employees from New By Product and A to F Blast Furnace, welcomed the Tata Workers Union officials.

A maximum of Rs 4 lakh 61 thousand 19 was sent to the bonus account of Tata Steel employees this year. This year only Rs 298.82 crore was being received under the fixed formula. But due to the efforts of the union, the management gave an additional Rs 15.88 crore, after which the employees got 20 percent bonus this year also.

In all 11676 employees received bonus at Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur plant, under which an amount of Rs 186.51 crore was distributed in Jamshedpur. This time, the average bonus of the employees was Rs 1 lakh 59 thousand 738, while the maximum bonus of the old series employees was Rs 4 lakh 61 thousand 19. The maximum bonus of NS grade employees was Rs 1 lakh 21 thousand 718 while the minimum bonus was Rs 42561.
