Tata Pigments employees salary hiked on new wage agreement

Jamshedpur, July 27: A Memorandum of Settlement between the Management of Tata Pigments Limited and Office Bearers of the Tata Pigments Workers� Union was signed on Monday, July 27, 2015 covering Wage Structure, Allowances and LTC of the employees of �E� Series Grades (Differential Wages System) of the Company who were covered under the agreement dated 13th November 2011. This settlement is effective from 1st January 2015 to 31st March 2018.

The minimum per month increase in wages as cost to the company including all allowance at the minimum of the grade is Rs.2038/- and maximum Rs.2293/-.

The minimum wages at the time of joining the Company would be Rs.5725/- (Basic plus DA) for Non-Technical employees and Rs.6300/- for Technical Employees with other allowances.

During Training period the Trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs.5175/- and Rs.5475/- per month as minimum during the 1st Year and 2nd Year.

The agreement was signed by Prakash Sarode, Managing Director, Shubhenjit Chaudhuri, Managing Director (Designate), V. Natarajan, AGM Finance & Accounts & Co. Secretary, P. K. P. Singh, Sr. Works Manager, Bh. V. Satya Narayan Murty, Sr. Manager (HR & Administration), P. V. Rama Rao, Sr. Manager (Finance & Accounts), K. K. Jha, Consultant (HRM) on behalf of the Management and Rakeshwar Pandey, President, Nandlal, Vice-President, Raju Tudu, General Secretary, Rabindra Nath Sharma, Treasurer, Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Secretary and Dhulu Murmu, Assistant Secretary on behalf of the Union.
