Jamshedpur, Dec 28: Tata Motors has announced the permanent employment of 225 Bi-Six workers under a tripartite agreement, as part of its fifth phase of transitioning temporary workers. The move aligns with a Jharkhand High Court directive, bringing the total number of permanent employees to 1,225.
Union General Secretary RK Singh expressed optimism, stating, “Efforts will continue to exceed the agreement and make more By Six employees permanent.” The company aims to complete the process by 2026, marking the end of temporary employment.
Medical tests for the newly selected employees will be conducted between January 7 and February 7. Workers have been asked to submit essential documents, including PAN cards, bank details, and educational certificates, along with passport-sized photographs.
This announcement reflects Tata Motors’ commitment to addressing workers’ long-standing demands and ensuring job security for its workforce.
