Jamshedpur, Dec 28: To ensure a safe New Year celebration, the Jamshedpur police conducted a comprehensive flag march under the leadership of City SP and Rural SP.
The initiative covered popular urban and rural tourist destinations, including Jubilee Park, Dimna Lake, and Burudih Dam. The police even employed sniffer dogs to strengthen security measures.
Rural SP Rishabh Garg emphasized the importance of maintaining safety during the festive period, stating, “Strong security arrangements have been made at all picnic spots and tourist places. Tourists can enjoy the New Year celebrations without fear.” Plainclothes officers and magistrates have been deployed to ensure smooth crowd management and to address any security concerns.
Thousands of tourists flock to Jamshedpur’s scenic locations like Maubhandar, Galudih, and Ghatshila during this time. Garg added, “The Jamshedpur Police is always ready to serve and protect the public, especially during such occasions.”
The police also urged citizens to cooperate by adhering to safety guidelines, ensuring a joyful and incident-free celebration for all.
