Jamshedpur, Dec 28: Two young doctors from Jharkhand, Dr. Raghavendra of MGM and Aman Kumar Singh of RIMS Ranchi, were honored at the 99th All India Medical Conference in Hyderabad.
Dr. Raghavendra, a Senior Resident in MGM’s Paediatrics Department, received the National Award for his leadership in advocating for medical students’ welfare. He remarked, “This award inspires me to continue working for the betterment of students and the medical community.” Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma presented the award.
Aman Kumar Singh, a final-year MBBS student at RIMS, was recognized by IMA’s Medical Student Network for his exceptional contributions. He stated, “Being honored at a national platform motivates me to excel further in my journey as a doctor.”
The event witnessed dignitaries like IMA National President Dr. RV Ashokan and Telangana IMA leaders lauding the young doctors’ efforts. Both awardees represent the promising future of medical professionals from Jharkhand.
