Jamshedpur: Swarnakar Vikas Manch, a city-based organization of the ornament makers, has leveled allegation of fraud and misuse of organization’s name by sections of persons who were dismissed from the organization.
Addressing media persons Manch’s Ranjit Kumar Buman said that some unscrupulous elements are fleecing gullible people by wrongly using the name of additional chief secretary of Governor RS Poddar and MLA Saryu Roy.
The Manch organized a press meet today at Chamber Bhavan here today.
Burman said people with wrong intention are collecting money by using fake receipts in name of social get-together. The fake receipts printed in this connection do not bear names of additional chief secretary or the MLA. The said unscrupulous elements are collecting lakhs of money by wrongly using the names of people in high offices.
He further said such elements also did the same in the name of putting up candidates of Manch in the recently concluded assembly election. It was then intimated to the administration but due to inaction of the administration the same group of persons has yet again started their wrongful activies, he said.
Speaking further Manch president Ranjit Kumar Burman said that Swarnakar Vikas Manch is earning a bad name due to illegal activities of a few elements. “Ours is a registered organization.
But a few wrongly motivated people are misguiding the members of the organization by using the name of the organization for illegal activities.
Misuse of organization name is hurting us,” Burman said. He also urged the members of the community to remain cautious from such misguided elements and contribute to hold the good name of the organization.
Swarnakar Vikas Manch will organize its annual get-together in January 27 at Jubilee Park.
Ishwar Prasad, Kartik Narayan Prasad, Mohan Prasad, Brij Nandan Prasad,RK Jauhari, Shiv Shankar Prasad, Dilip Kumar, Raju Burman and other members of the organization were present at the press meet.
