7th National HR Conference from today, T V Narendran to inaugurate

Jamshedpur : XLRI – Xavier School of Management, one of India�s premier B-Schools, is all set to organize the 7th National HR Conference on January 10 and 11 , 2015 at XLRI Campus, Jamshedpur.

The theme of the conference is �Social HR and Technological Applications in HR�. T V Narendran, managing director, Tata Steel, will inaugurate the meet.

The 2-day event would bring together prominent academicians and industry leaders to discuss some of the most pertinent questions related to HR today and address issues like �Competencies in Digital Workspaces� and �HR Analytics�.

Conceptualized and organized by the flagship HR committee at XLRI – SAPPHIRE, the conference shall witness industry stalwarts like S. K. Dutt (President, Group HR � ABG Group), Abhijit Bahaduri (Chief Learning Officer � Wipro), T. Shivaram (Director- HR – SAP Labs India), Esther Martinez (CEO, People Matters), Pankaj Bansal (CEO, People Strong) amongst others.

�Human Resources Management plays a key role behind the success and performance of a company. HRM encompasses strategic management of the employees, who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the organization.

The 7th National HR Conference at XLRI would also witness release of results of the 2nd National HR Survey- a first-of-its-kind endeavor by an Indian B-school.

On the occasion, the grand of the inter B-school quiz league �Battle HRoyale� would be held. Among the finalists would be teams from leading business management institutes. Besides, the conference would also witness presentation of research papers from students and schools providing further insight into the theme of �Social HR and Technological Applications in HR� and the launch of Synapse, the annual HR magazine compiled by SAPPHIRE.
