Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato informed today that Banguda village at Patamda has been selected under MP Adarsh Gram Yojna.
As per the proposed plan the village would be developed. In this connection Mahato today met deputy commissioner Dr Amitabh Kauhal and deputy development commissioner Lal Mohan Mahato.
While discussing on the issue the MP said that in the second phase villages under Ghatsila, Baharagora and Potka would be indentified for the said project. The Adarsh Gram Yojna would be carried out in those villages which are underdeveloped and people there are bereft of basic amenities.
Presently the densely populated Banguda village does not have road connections, whereas a large number of residents are not getting pensions.
Under the proposed plan facilities such as education infrastructure, toilets, new roads and community halls would come up in the village, he said.
The projects would be chalked after a discussion with the local Gram Sabha after Makar Sankranti, the MP informed.
