Students protest at Jamshedpur Workers College

Jamshedpur, November 23: On Thursday, students of Jamshedpur Workers College in Mango surrounded the principal of the college and protested against delay in publication of third semester result.

Students say that the results of the third semester examination were published last 20 days, in which there are many errors. Not a single student has passed all the practical papers. All the students have been promoted. When an attempt was made to find out the reason for this problem, it was found that the marks of the set paper of practical were not demanded by the university. For this reason, the marks file was not uploaded by the college also. Due to this, the results of hundreds of students have been promoted.

The students said that this issue is not only of Workers College but also of other colleges of Kolhan, where this problem has come to light. A demand letter regarding this demand was submitted to the college before leave. Despite this, the marksheet of the students was released and in it all the students were shown absent in one main subject. Till now the examination results have not been corrected and sent by Kolhan University.

Rajesh Mahato and Kameshwar Prasad of All Jharkhand Students Union Workers College Unit said that the union had to create ruckus in view of the sluggish attitude of Kolhan University.
