Chaibasa: Rungta Mines Ghatkuri organized an essay writing, slogan and poster making competition on the occasion of wild life week 2017 among the various schools on Wednesday. The students displayed their talent in canvas with focus on bio diversity and environment. The GM Subhash Chandra Pradhan and CSR Manger Falvinder Singh decked the poster, slogan for public view.
In essay writing-the first prize was bagged by Sanjan Paul, a student of SN High School Gua, and second prize was won by Anjali Gupta of S N high school Gua while third place was secured by Bamiya Tiriya of Upgraded high school Nuiya.
In poster making competition- the first prize was bagged by Sita Champia of Upgraded Middle School Nuiya whereas second prize was won by Janamsingh Khuntiya of Upgraded middle school Nuiya. The third prize was secured by Krishna Melgadi of upgraded middle school Nuiya.
In Slogan contest- the first prize was bagged by Resmi Kumari while second prize went to Payal Sau of S N high school Gua.
Third prize was won by Sita Champia of Upgraded high school Nuiya.
In his speech, Rungta Mines GM pradhan said that we must make our goal to protect wild life. CSR manger Falvinder Singh said, wild life is an important part to maintain the ecological balance in nature. Its extinction can jeopardize our life. We must also make free our society from old unscientific practices as these old unscientific practices lead us towards disaster. He also said that there must be a yardstick for wild life. Present on the occasion were Neem Chandra Mahto, Gurmeet Kaur, Narendra Kumar Sahu, Rishikesh Dutta, Brij kishore Paswan and others.
